Palworld Summer Update Will Add New Island, Pal Species, Buildings and Weapons

During the first presentation of the Triple-i Initiative, Pocketpair introduced a teaser for an upcoming Arena update in Palworld that would introduce a new PvP mode featuring teams of three Pals. However, there was a miscommunication, as the teaser suggested a Summer 2024 release date, which was incorrect. Pocketpair has since corrected the error on Steam, clarifying that they are accelerating the development process to bring the update sooner.

In addition, Pocketpair announced another update planned for this summer, which will feature a new island equipped with a novel Pal species, enhanced weaponry, and innovative building structures.

Palworld, which is currently in early access on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, recently launched its initial post-release update. This update introduced Bellanoir as a new raid boss, alongside fresh items and various game enhancements. Further developments include enabling Pal trading among players, server changes, and the potential integration of cross-platform play while discussions are ongoing to expand the game's availability across additional platforms.
